Special Events

  • VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!  If you have a background in English – writing, editing, or oral presentation – you can help our local seminarians.  Check out the details here!
  • Help Collect Box Tops for Education for Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese!    We shared 400 box tops just this summer!!  Click here for a list of products that carry the coupons, or pick up a list next to the donation box.
  • Lectors and EMHCs! 
    • The Schedule for the period November 30 – March 23 will be created at the end of November.  It includes the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Christmas, and the Solemnity of Mary, all of which have extended assignment lists.  See your email for more details on dates and times.
    • If you have restrictions or requests for that period, please let us know by NOVEMBER 15 by sending a message to servistraph@gmail.com or by using the MSP app.
  • Our social outreach ministry, SAMARITANS ALWAYS CARE (SAC)is collecting:
    • Food for the Soup Kitchen at Our Lady of the Valley:  Please place your items for those in need in the labeled boxes in the vestibule.
    • We will be collecting new children’s pajamas and slippers:  newborn through children’s sizes 14/16.  Deadline for donations: November 9!
    •  Thanksgiving Food DriveBeginning October 26, we will be collecting the following: turkeys, hams,canned vegetables, instant mashed potatoes, stuffing mix, rice, gravy, cranberry sauce, and ingredients for desserts or prepared desserts.  Please bring non-perishable items first.  More information on turkeys, hams, and prepared desserts will follow.
    • If you would like to take a more active part in helping with the SAC projects, please contact the parish office and you will be put in contact with a committee member.

We Are Living Stones Capital Campaign

  • We are still working on our 4-year campaign to support the efforts of the Archdiocese support of our priests, our seminarians, our Catholic schools!!  This is the final year of  the campaign.  We have already received funds for our parish amounting to $35,721.15.  We can receive almost $50,000 if all pledges are met.  Campaign Details
