  • Lectors and EMHCs!
    • The NEW Schedule for Easter and the summer will be put together shortly.   We are delaying its actual creation, awaiting news on the impact of the Coronavirus on services within the church building.   In the meantime, the Lectors will be scheduled manually.  Please look for a message from servistraphael@gmail.com for information and let us know if you are willing to read during the LiveStream Mass.  If you have further input on your availability during the summer, please forward to servistraph@gmail.com.
    •  We are looking for additional Lectors and EMHCs!  Please consider joining these Ministries whose role is to support the Celebrant during the Mass by reading God’s words and distributing the Eucharist!   Call the Parish Office if you are interested.
  • Our social outreach ministry, SAMARITANS ALWAYS CARE (SAC)  – It is with heavy heart that we announce that our collections for the Soup Kitchen, the Easter Baskets, and Mother’s Day are cancelled.  First and foremost, we are most concerned about the safety of our parishioners, and, as the church and offices are not accessible to us at this time, we feel it best to cancel these projects at this time.  This is certainly not a safe time to go shopping.  We encourage prayer – storm the heavens for those in danger of the coronavirus and those who are in need, as they are everyday!   Consider direct monetary donations to Our Lady of the Valley Soup Kitchen (Sonny’s Pantry) at 510 Valley Street, Orange, NJ 07050, Catholic Charities Development Office at 590 North 7th Street, Newark, NJ 07107, and John Corr Family Resources at 455 Western Ave., Morristown, NJ 07960.  Thank you!!
